Boys Program Makes Elite National Premier League
Clay County Soccer Club (April 4th, 2017) – We are happy to announce that the CCSC boys program has been awarded ENPL (Elite National Premier League) status through Florida NPL (National Premier League). A boys team from every CCSC age group will have a pathway to qualify for ENPL. This league will offer the CCSC boys programs numerous opportunities in the form of quality competition, showcase exposure and player development initiatives.
The Florida NPL was established in 2011 as one of the founding members of the National Premier Leagues. In 2017-18, it will feature 16 established clubs throughout the Sunshine State: ACYS Spirit United, Boca United/South Florida United, Chargers SC, Clay County SC, Florida Elite Soccer Academy, Florida Kraze Krush, GPS Florida West, GPS Orlando, IMG Academy, Jacksonville FC, Kendall SC, Space Coast United, Sunrise Soccer, Tampa Bay United, West Florida Flames and Weston FC.
"The Florida NPL is very excited about the opportunity to participate in the new ENPL platform in coordination with the Boys ECNL," said Scott Armstrong, President of the Florida NPL. "The ENPL allows our member clubs to participate in one of the highest levels of competition in the country, while awarding teams on merit, ensuring that events will have the best possible competitions within US Club Soccer.”
"The opportunity to be a part of this partnership between the National Premier Leagues and the Elite Clubs National League is something that we believe will strengthen and improve the development of our young players in the state of Florida, and we look forward to seeing the partnership between NPL and ECNL grow in the future."
