COVID-19 Updates for the Club

Update #4 - March 27, 2020

Clay County Soccer Club - United Soccer Alliance is postponing all games and practices through April 15th

We have spent the past few days outlining a plan in the event this decision was necessary.  Our intent is to restart training and all activity beginning April 15th and extend the season through May to reschedule games, training, extend time for supplemental programming, and ensure that teams can play their season.

At this time, all evaluations and other club events scheduled after April 15th are still in place. There will be modifications made on the calendar to accommodate the suspension period and to extend the season.

In this period of social distancing, we will be publishing online training sessions and challenges via Facebook and YouTube. We will also be sending out workouts through our coaching staff. We encourage all players to watch and participate in these workouts in order to stay fit and healthy during this down time.

We are highly determined to see this through and confident that we will be stronger - together. We are very grateful for the patience and understanding from all of our soccer families that have continued to support our organization through this critical time.

We miss you and look forward to seeing you on the fields soon!

Update #2  - March 13, 2020

The decision to cancel training yesterday, March 12th, was made in conjunction with the other clubs and leagues in the Greater Jacksonville area out of an abundance of caution. Our main priority is the health and safety of our membership. Games this weekend will be postponed. We will be taking this time to work with the CDC, Florida Department of Health, local authorities and the other clubs in Jacksonville. Our goal is to complete this season, not withstanding concern for the health of our membership. We will provide our next update on Monday, March 16th.

Update #1 - March 12, 2020

Out of an abundance of caution, Eagle Harbor and Ringhaver Park will be closed tonight, Thursday March 12th, to limit the exposure to the COVID-19 virus. We are closely monitoring updates from the CDC, the Florida Department of Health and local authorities. We will provide update #2 tomorrow, Friday March 13th, regarding the status of games this weekend.

The safety of our membership is always our main priority!! Once again, we will provide update #2 tomorrow, March 13th.
