Eleven from CCSC U18 Sol sign College Letters
The biggest single College signing class in the history of the CCSC is from this years U-18 Sol girls team.
Eleven of the 15 members of the team have all signed their college letters of intent and will head off to college to start playing in August. Many of the players have been a part of Clay County Soccer since their early childhoods, some having started out as U-6 players in our 2001 recreational program.
Coach Luis Torres said; "I'm extremely proud of the girls, they have worked very hard throughout the years and it's very gratifying to see that it has all payed off for them. I have known some of these girls since they were babies and have coached them for many years so it's kind of sad to think that that they will be leaving us soon, but it's also very exciting to know that they will all be college players in a few months".
On behalf of the Clay County Soccer Club we would like to say Congratulations! Good Luck! and Thank You, for your loyalty and commitment to the club throughout the years.
