Dennis Violett Soccer Complex at Eagle Harbor

The Clay County Soccer Club Recreation League consists of coed and girls teams from U5 to U19 age groups.

Volunteer coaches provide a fun atmosphere in which players can learn the game of soccer. There is no skill level requirement for this league.

Our Recreational soccer program is the foundation of our club and is designed to encourage our players to develop a passion for the game of soccer. Younger players are allowed to explore soccer through small sided games. Parent volunteer coaches are supported by our club professionals.
  • U14-U19 Recreational teams will be registered in NFYSL. Travel to other NFYSL clubs will be required.
  • U10-U12 Recreational teams have the option of registering in NFYSL.

Documentation Requirements
A copy of your child's birth certificate will need to be turned in to the club before games begin via fax

Equipment Required
Shin guards, soccer cleats, ball, and Clay County Soccer Club uniform.
Requests for a certain coach or teammate will be taken into consideration when making team assignments but there are no guarantees.
Play-Up Policy
There will be NO playing up in the Recreation League.

When will my coach contact me

Your coach will contact you approximately two to three weeks prior to the start of the season after the coaches meeting

When will practices begin? 

Practices will begin approximately 2 weeks before the start of the season.  The Spring season generally begins the first or second weekend of March. The Fall season generally begins the end of August.

When and Where are practices? 

Practice days and times depend on the coach but are generally once a week for U5-U6 for an hour and twice a week for an hour to hour and a half for the older age groups at the discretion of the coach.  Practices are usually in the evening.

The majority of practices are held at the Dennis Viollet Soccer Complex in Eagle Harbor located at 4387 Lakeshore Dr., Orange Park, FL 32003. There are also several teams that may also practice at other locations in the Clay County area.

How and when do I get my uniform? 

If you ordered a uniform with your registration then you will receive your uniform from the Dennis Viollet, Eagle Harbor Office the week before games begin.

When and where are games played? 

The majority of games will be played on Saturdays with the possibility of an occasional Sunday game depending on the number of teams in the players particular age group.  All games for the U5-U8 are played at the home fields, Dennis Viollet Soccer Complex.  U10-U19 will play games at Dennis Villet Soccer Complex as well as other clubs in the greater Jacksonville area.

How many games are there in a season? 

There are approximately 10 games per season.
