The major focus of the ELITE ACADEMY is to provide player-centric training and competitive environments that nurtures growth in all components of the game. This will be accomplished through some of the following:

  • An emphasis on age and developmentally appropriate activities.
  • Training that promotes creativity, technical proficiency, dynamic decision making and a passion for the “beautiful game”.
  • Practice sessions following a curriculum provided by the DOC’s.
  • The use of a professional coaching/training staff to enhance the players’ soccer experience.
  • Complete oversight of individual player development and age group growth by the DOC’s.

EA Teams will be placed in an appropriate level Northeast Florida Youth Soccer League (NFYSL) game rotation in which they will play against other NFYSL teams from around the area.  There is typically a minimum of 10-12 games each season (Fall & Spring).  Traveling to approximately half of the scheduled games is expected. Only EA Trainers and/or Club DOC’s will be coaching the EA teams during games.  Attendance to an appropriate level tournament may be considered for some of the EA teams during each season.

Cost: Registration Fee for the 2011-12 ELITE ACADEMY (seasonal year) will be $495, which will include the Premier Program Adidas Uniform Kit (two shorts, two jerseys, two socks and two CCSC training shirts).

The Elite Academy is directed by Luis Torres, Director of Coaching at CCSC.
