Volunteer Opportunities

Advanced League
If you are interested in becoming an Advanced League coach please contact
Vice-President of Advanced League Craig Price.  An Advanced League Coaches Application must be submitted by March 15, 2008 for consideration for the Fall 2008/Spring 2009 seasons.
 
Academy
The Clay County Soccer Club Academy is on the cutting edge of soccer training in Florida.  The Academy is always looking for Game Day Managers to help with facilitate the game for the kids. Responsibilities include the organization of the players on the GAME DAY, and substitutions.
 
Recreation League
Clay County Soccer Club is a volunteer based organization. Much of our success depends on our volunteer coaches.  If you are interested in becoming a volunteer coach please stop by the CCSC office between 4-7 on weekdays or contact
Vice-President of Recreation League.


 
Requirements
All Coaches are required to attend 1 coaches meeting and 1 coaches clinic per season.
 
Background Check
Coaches are also required to submit to a background screening before they may begin practices or games.

Volunteers

Introduction
As a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, Clay County Soccer Club depends soley on its volunteers to ensure the operation and success of the club.  Volunteers are needed in the following areas:  Registration, Field Coordinator, Coach Recruitment, Disciplinary Committee, Recreational Committee, Fundraiser, TOPSoccer, Tournaments, Age Group Coordinators, Coaching.

Immediate Volunteer Needs
Volunteers are needed to work the conession stand.  High schoolers, do you need community service hours to meet your Florida Bright Futures requirements?  We need volunteers on Saturdays during the months of March, April and May.  We are also in need of volunteers for tournaments on Memorial Day and June 7-8.  Please contact Donna Rogers at (904) 458-6188.

Referees

Introduction

Requirements
Referees must attend a course and become certified in order to referee league games.
