2010 SPRING PRE-SEASON COACHING CLINIC SCHEDULE

FRIDAY, FEB. 19TH, 6-9 PM
U5, U6, U8 & U10 AGE GROUP COACHES

U12, U14, U16 & U19 AGE GROUP COACHES

FRIDAY, MARCH 5TH, 6-8:30 PM
MAKE UP CLASSROOM SESSION FOR ALL AGE GROUP COACHES
(NOTE: NO FIELD SESSION)

INSTRUCTIONS
Due to risk management requirements, these Coaching Clinics are mandatory for all NEW CCSC Head AND Assistant Coaches (defined as any person who has direct contact with any CCSC player while serving in a coaching capacity), or any CCSC Coach returning from the Fall 2009 Season that has yet to attend a CCSC or FYSA sanctioned coaching clinic/course.

ALL Coaching Clinics will be held at the Dennis Viollet Soccer Complex at Eagle Harbor (4387 Lakeshore Drive, Fleming Island, FL 32003). Those coaches who are physically able and would like to participate with the on-field sessions are asked to dress to play soccer (including having soccer cleats available to change in to).

All participants will need to pre-register by contacting Carlos Manuel, CCSC Director of Coaching, at carlos.manuel@claycountysoccer.com or by calling the CCSC Office at (904) 278-1182. Please pre-register at least 24 hours prior to the clinic and be specific as to which date you are registering for.

All Recreational soccer coaches are volunteers. Soccer experience is NOT required. CCSC will provide guidance and training.

Academy
The Clay County Soccer Club Academy is on the cutting edge of soccer training in Florida.  The Academy is always looking for Game Day Managers to help with facilitate the game for the kids. Responsibilities include the organization of the players on the GAME DAY, and substitutions.
 
Recreation League
Clay County Soccer Club is a volunteer based organization. Much of our success depends on our volunteer coaches.  If you are interested in becoming a volunteer coach please stop by the CCSC office between 4-7 on weekdays or contact the Recreation Director. recreationdirector@claycountysoccer.com

All Coaches are required to attend 1 coaches meeting and 1 coaches clinic per season.
 
Background Check
Coaches are also required to submit to a background screening before they may begin practices or games.
