Top youth players in North America headed to IMG Academy

The Super Y-League opens its 2012-13 Olympic Development Program Boys National Camp last Thursday at the world-class facilities of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.

With an experienced and diverse roster of coaches on hand to provide instruction and evaluation under the direction of USL National Technical Director Peter Mellor, who has spent the past 19 years as a member of the U.S. National Staff and 26 years as an ODP coach.

The ODP Program is a crucial component of the USL Super Y-League, offering the best players from the U13 to U17 age groups a chance to receive top-quality coaching and the opportunity to be scouted by U.S. National Team. At the completion of the event top performers from each age are placed on a Select team and continue to win the eye of the US National Team, College, MLS from around the USA.

Among the elite team was Brandon Bartel (forward) and Hakeem Reed (GK) both from Clay County Soccer Club. Congrats to both for your success and hard work.
