USL Super Y
Clay County Soccer Club's U'15 and U'16 Boys opened their inaugural USL Super Y campaign this past weekend with two stella performances.
The U'15 Boys lost narrowly 2-1 to Florida Fire Juniors, with Parker Skinner scoring the Rangers only goal. The team played well, creating many opportunities to even the game up, however, they fell just short.
The U'16 Boys tied Chivas 1-1 in a thrilling end-to-end game. Chivas took the lead early in the game. The Rangers replied immediately, creating some excellent scoring chances. 10 minutes prior to the end of the game, The Rangers finally capitalised on their hard work, Andre Tomlinson coming up big at the back post with a towering header.
Next weekend, June 15th, Clay County's U'14 and U'16 teams will be hosting FC America at the Dennis Viollet Soccer Complex. Both games will be kicking off at 2:00 pm.
